Success Story – My Mom!
I am so happy to be able to share my Mom’s weight loss story.
My Mom is currently 70 years old and weighs 140 pounds at 5’6″. But it wasn’t always like that….
Six years ago Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. Being a smoker for over 50 years we knew that this was inevitable.
She immediately had to stop smoking – pretty much cold turkey since she had a lovely week long stay at the hospital (they don’t take kindly to you lighting one up in the hospital – especially when you’re there with a big fat tumor in your lung).
Anyway, Mom had the affected lobe of her lung removed, it was a success, and 6 years later she is still cancer free. Yeah!
